European Champion 2024
Winning the European Championship in 2024 is a feeling I’ll never forget. Years of hard work, dedication, and tough moments all led to this. Standing there, knowing I finally did it, was something special. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and grateful for everyone who supported me along the way.
Semi finals
The semifinals at the 2024 UEC Trials European Championship went really well for me. Right from the start, I had a good feeling on the bike. The sections were tough—super slippery in places—which made it even more challenging to stay balanced and precise. But I felt in control the whole time. I managed to stay focused on every move, keeping my head clear and sticking to the plan I had going in.
It was one of those days where everything just clicked. My technique was solid, I made smart decisions, and I felt confident pushing through each section. Even with the tricky conditions, I trusted my riding and stayed calm, which made a big difference. Overall, I came out of the semifinals feeling strong and ready for the finals.
The final
The finals didn’t start the way I was hoping. In the first sections, I only managed to score 50 points, while some of the other riders were putting up 60s. It was a tough start, and I knew I was going to have to fight hard to turn things around. I was struggling to find my rhythm at first, but I kept telling myself to stay focused and trust my riding.
By the time I got to sections 3 and 4, something clicked. I managed to pull off some really good lines and scored more points than my rivals there, which gave me a huge confidence boost. Those sections felt like a turning point for me in the final.
When I reached the last section, I knew it was all or nothing. I stayed calm, focused on every move, and managed to score 50 points there. That was enough to secure first place, and honestly, it felt incredible to come back like that after a shaky start. It was a special moment!
