Riding the Epic 360º in Menorca
In the first week of November, we traveled to Menorca with Marc Codina to take on the Epic 360º, a demanding race that follows the Camí de Cavalls—a rugged, technical trail that circles the entire island, passing through some of Menorca’s most stunning landscapes.
Don’t be misled by the distance or the moderate elevation gain—this route is anything but easy. It’s packed with rocks, roots, beaches, gates, and tricky sections that make it a real challenge to ride. But if you’re up for an adventure, it’s an experience you won’t want to miss!
And honestly, biking the Camí de Cavalls is the best way to explore Menorca. The island’s landscapes are incredibly diverse and breathtaking, making every kilometer worth the effort!

The Route: GR 223 Camí de Cavalls
The GR 223 Camí de Cavalls is an ancient trail that encircles Menorca, closely following the island’s natural contours for much of its 157 km journey. This historic path takes you through an incredible variety of landscapes, many of which are protected and ecologically delicate.
Along the way, you’ll pass through S’Albufera des Grau Natural Park, the heart of Menorca’s Biosphere Reserve, as well as several Areas of Special Natural Interest. The route winds past secluded coves, coastal cliffs, lush forests, winding ravines, and open fields, all framed by Menorca’s signature dry stone walls.
Every stretch of the trail offers a new perspective on the island’s raw beauty, making it an unforgettable experience for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
